Job Summary
Summer Mental Wellness Interns will complete 8 modules of Bridges to Care San Antonio Teen Mental Health Champion Program to obtain certification as a Youth Mental Health Champion; interns will attend four 5-hour days (8:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m.) June 1–4, 2026 at their high school location, with CAST STEM students attending at their feeder school and out-of-district students providing their own transportation. The role requires current high school enrollment, ability to attend all sessions, and a recommendation from administration. Salary is $11.00 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled at Southwest High School/Southwest Legacy/CAST STEM as a rising 10th to 12th grader
- Ability to attend all sessions
- Ability to read and write on grade level
- Recommendation from high school administration
- DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: attend four 5-hour days (8:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m.) June 1-June 4, 2026 at high school location
