Job Summary
Lifeguard position at Williams College’s Samuelson Muir Pool focused on patron safety through constant surveillance, immediate emergency action, and provision of emergency care until EMS arrival. Responsibilities include maintaining a professional appearance and customer service standards, performing maintenance duties to keep a clean, safe facility, attending staff in-services, and completing routine administrative tasks. Requires current CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer Lifeguard Training & First Aid certification (American Red Cross or equivalent); prior pool/waterfront water-park lifeguard experience is preferred.
