Job Summary
Ensure the safety of patrons at an assigned aquatic facility by preventing and responding to emergencies, enforcing pool rules, and maintaining proper water chemicals and clean facilities. Report any unsafe conditions or faulty equipment to your Supervisor. Maintain a professional, attentive, and focused demeanor throughout the shift. This seasonal role runs from May 25th, 2025, to September 1st, 2025, with flexible schedules including all weekends and specific holiday weekends. Candidates must be at least 15 years old and hold current Nationally Approved Lifeguard, CPR/AED, and First Aid certificates. Experienced lifeguards may be considered for a Pool Manager position with increased responsibility and higher pay.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 15 years old by date of hire or the last day of the lifeguard course
- Ability to work Memorial Day weekend, 4th of July weekend, and Labor Day weekend (Saturday, Sunday, Monday)
- Ability to work ALL WEEKENDS throughout the Summer (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
- Conduct themselves in a professional manner
- Attentive and focused
- Current Nationally Approved Lifeguard, CPR/AED, and First Aid Certificates or obtain before the beginning of the season
