Job Summary
Ensure the safety of patrons at an assigned aquatic facility by preventing and responding to emergencies, enforcing pool rules, monitoring water chemicals, and maintaining a clean environment. Report any unsafe conditions or faulty equipment to the Supervisor. Maintain a professional demeanor while remaining attentive and focused throughout the shift. The season runs from Saturday, May 23rd, 2026, to Monday, September 7th, 2026. Candidates must be at least 15 years old, hold current Nationally Approved Lifeguard, CPR/AED, and First Aid certificates, and be available to work Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day weekends, as well as all weekends during the summer. Experienced candidates may be considered for Pool Manager roles with increased responsibility and higher pay.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 15 years old by date of hire or the last day of the lifeguard course
- Ability to work Memorial Day weekend, 4th of July weekend, and Labor Day weekend (Saturday, Sunday, Monday)
- Ability to work ALL WEEKENDS throughout the Summer (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
- Conduct themselves in a professional manner and be attentive and focused
- Current Nationally Approved Lifeguard, CPR/AED, and First Aid Certificates or obtain before the beginning of the season

- Experienced, motivated Lifeguards who demonstrate excellent customer service, organizational and leadership skills
