Job Summary
Summer IT Support Technician for a full-time seasonal assignment. Responsibilities include configuring, imaging, and setting up desktop and laptop computers; preparing equipment for deployment (including software installations, updates, and security settings); coordinating and managing shipment of computers to various U.S. locations; tracking inventory and asset tagging; troubleshooting basic hardware and software issues prior to dispatch; ensuring devices are tested and ready for end-user use; assisting with equipment returns, reimaging, and redeployment; maintaining IT storage and staging areas; and following IT security and equipment-handling policies.
Required Qualifications
- Interest in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware, Windows operating systems, and common software
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to lift and move computer equipment (up to 30–40 lbs as needed)
