Job Summary
Collate field data to manage and optimize base production and injection for oil and gas fields. Participate in well and reservoir reviews, identify progression opportunities using system modeling, and contribute to risk and vulnerability management strategies. Utilize digital tools to document events and maintain key information for future teams while working alongside specialists across the business lifecycle. Gain exposure to offshore operations through specific training and live projects, supported by a dedicated line manager and buddy. Complete a comprehensive performance assessment process including goal setting, mid-term reviews, and final presentations over a 12-week summer program.
Required Qualifications
- Working toward a Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Reservoir Engineering or closely related discipline
- Graduating between December 2027 and May 2028
- Current Cumulative GPA Minimum 3.0
- Eligible to work in the U.S. with no restrictions (bp will not support U.S. Immigration sponsorship for full-time or long-term employment)
- Must be available to start 12-week internship on May 17, 2027 or June 14, 2027
- Must be able to travel offshore
- Must complete specific training to travel offshore and meet offshore safety and emergency response requirements (such as HUET)
- Must have a valid TWIC card (Transportation Workers Identification Credential)
