Job Summary
Apply geophysical and geological interpretation skills to deliver integrated descriptions and evaluations for regional and field-level projects. Interpret and integrate subsurface data including 2D, 3D, and 4D seismic, well logs, and cores to define reservoir properties and identify opportunities. Construct structural and stratigraphic models to support bulk rock volume calculations and hydrocarbon in-place determinations. Participate in multidisciplinary evaluations of prospects by identifying key subsurface uncertainties to support technical recommendations. Support well planning and delivery through the generation of pre-drill prognoses and integration with multidisciplinary teams for wellbore design. Gain exposure to real-time field operational support and post-well integration while developing an understanding of the seismic data lifecycle. Work with biostratigraphers to understand implications of biostratigraphic interpretations across business-critical stratigraphic intervals.
Required Qualifications
- Pursuing a Master's or PhD degree in Geophysics, Geology, Earth Science, Geoscience or closely related discipline
- Graduating between December 2027 and May 2028
- Current Cumulative GPA Minimum 3.2
- Must be available to start 12-week internship on May 17, 2027 or June 14, 2027
- Will be required to pass all background and medical checks at least one week prior to start date
- Negligible travel should be expected with this role
