Job Summary
Assist the Financial Restructuring Group with creditor- and debtor-side restructurings, distressed M&A, and special situations involving distressed investing. Support clients in out-of-court and in-court restructurings, raise debt and equity financings, and participate in complex negotiations on their behalf. Work as part of deal teams comprising managing directors, vice presidents, associates, and financial analysts to deliver integrated solutions across mergers and acquisitions and capital markets. Requires a 2028 graduate with strong LBO and DCF modeling skills, English and Mandarin proficiency, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Strong academic track record and hold or be on track for a 2:1 degree in accounting, economics and/or finance
- Top academic performer and a quick learner capable of performing in an unstructured environment
- A demonstrated interest in restructuring
- Prior investment banking internship experience (M&A or an industry team), leverage finance or restructuring is desirable, but not essential
- Thorough understanding of valuation theory, methodologies and applications
- Strong quantitative, financial and analytical skills
- Strong LBO and DCF modelling skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- An exceptional strong work ethic
- Graduation date of Summer 2028
