Job Summary
Lead and supervise field-trip operations for Steve & Kate's Camp at the BH Center in Somerville, overseeing staff and campers, communicating with parents, managing a small budget for food and activities, and ensuring safety and adherence to state and camp policies while traveling between stops by bus or public transportation. Responsibilities include actively supervising campers, conducting check-ins and evaluations, maintaining records of incidents and allergies, coordinating with site partners, and ensuring training completion for self and staff. Ideal candidates are motivated to work with kids, able to lead groups calmly, and excited to share knowledge through creative, playful programming.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- Minimum of 2 months experience working with camp-age children (1 year preferred)
- First Aid & CPR certified prior to Day 1 of Camp
