Summer Field Trip Lead - Fremont (Harvey Community Park)

Lead field-trip activities for campers at Harvey Community Park in Fremont, CA, supervising staff and campers, coordinating activities, communicating with parents/guardians, and managing a food and activity budget. Travel by bus or public transportation to multiple stops, with a focus on safety and adherence to state/camp policies. Ideal candidates are 25+ with 2+ months (1 year preferred) of experience working with camp-age children and certification in First Aid & CPR prior to Day 1. This temporary role runs 6/8/2026–8/10/2026, 8:45 am–5:15 pm (shifts may vary) with an hourly wage of $26.75–$29.25. Responsibilities include supervising campers and staff, conducting check-ins and midseason evaluations, budgeting, parent communication, records of incidents, allergy/dietary tracking, supply management, training completion, and ensuring safety and program compliance. The position offers hands-on leadership development, collaboration with a team, and opportunities to gain experience in camps and child-centered activities.
