Job Summary
Manage inventory, maintenance, and distribution of all team equipment, including uniforms, training gear, and match day supplies. Coordinate with suppliers for uniform orders, numbering, and customization while maintaining organized equipment room and daily laundry operations. Prepare and pack necessary equipment for away matches and training sessions, ensuring all match day uniforms meet league regulations. Arrive early to set up locker rooms and bench areas, providing emergency equipment repairs during matches. Maintain detailed inventory records, manage equipment budget, and process orders with vendors. Sets up and breaks down training equipment daily, ensuring proper condition of training aids. Work extended hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Based in Hartford, Connecticut with significant travel required. Unpaid internship.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
- Ability to work extended hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds regularly
- Stand/walk for extended periods
- Operate industrial laundry equipment
- Work in various weather conditions
- Ability to load and unload equipment trucks
- Strong organizational and inventory management skills
- Knowledge of soccer equipment and proper maintenance techniques
- Experience with professional laundry equipment and maintenance
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
