Job Summary
Summer Development Coach role at Kankakee High School overseeing and supporting summer athletic development for student-athletes. Responsibilities include assisting with planning and facilitation of summer workouts, skill development sessions, conditioning activities, team-building opportunities, and program enrichment; consulting with the Head Coach on coaching staff matters; attending professional development; facilitating effective communication with athletes, parents, and staff; maintaining equipment and facilities; creating a season resume with statistics and rosters; and promoting positive relations within the athletics program. Requires ASEP/teacher certification and CPR/AED certification, and a willingness to travel with teams as needed; strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Teacher and/or ASEP Certification
- CPR/AED Certification
- Membership in State and National Organizations
