Job Summary
Greet families and campers upon arrival, then actively participate in all camp activities while supervising daily swim time from within the water. Assist the Camp Director in establishing rules, emergency procedures, and leading various programs to ensure the physical and emotional safety of every child. Cooperate with fellow Counselors to build relationships, help campers make friends, and try new things throughout the full day's schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience working with children
- CPR/First Aid Certified OR willing to become certified before the summer begins
- Must be available to work the full camp season
- Ability to help children grow in character, experiences and insights
- Ability to guard the health and well-being of campers at all times
- Capable of sustaining energy for participation in a full day's worth of activities
