Job Summary
Summer Contract - Early Childhood Educators for the Dryden Native Friendship Centre's Homeward Bound Daycare. Responsible for supervising and supporting children aged 0–12, planning and leading play-based, child-centered activities, maintaining attendance and progress records, and ensuring a clean, safe environment. Collaborate with a team and communicate with families; organize field trips and special activities; follow health/safety protocols. Qualifications include a Diploma in Early Childhood Education (preferred) or high school diploma with relevant experience, plus valid First Aid & CPR, and a Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check. Beneficial assets include knowledge of Indigenous culture and language skills, experience with emergent curriculum, and ability to work independently and in a team. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:30pm; 3-month full-time contract; compensation $24.15–$31.68 hourly.
Required Qualifications
- Valid First Aid & CPR (or willingness to obtain)
- Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check
- Updated immunizations and TB screening
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education (preferred)
- Member of the College of ECEs (preferred)
