Summer Care Lead Teacher

Job Summary
Lead fun, educational, and age-appropriate games, crafts, and activities in partnership with a co-lead teacher; foster positive relationships and provide emotional support; assist with conflict resolution and self-control; support behavior management with positive reinforcement and redirection; maintain a clean, safe environment; attend weekly field trips with school-age students and ensure student safety off campus. Schedule runs Monday-Thursday, 7:30am-5:30pm (40 hours/wk) from June 1 training through August 13, with start June 8. Qualified applicants should have experience with children, be able to multitask and stay patient in an active environment, and be willing to participate in employer-provided trainings.
Required Qualifications
- Over 18 years old
- Has a driver’s license
- Has 1 year experience working with children
- CPR and First Aid Certified or willingness to be trained (employer will pay for training)
- Blood Borne Pathogens training (employer will organize training if not yet trained)
- Must have or willing to take Virtus – Protecting God’s Children Training (employer will organize training if not yet trained)
- Must have or willing to take Child Care Licensing Health and Safety Training (employer will organize training if not yet trained)
