Job Summary
Summer Camp Teacher position supporting Lead Teacher at Guidepost Montessori in Beaverton, OR, for 2026 summer camps (June–August) with both full-time and part-time options. Responsibilities include observing children to tailor support, preparing an orderly environment to foster independence and concentration, providing individual and small-group lessons, and forming personal connections to build a collaborative, respectful community. The role is suitable for those seeking to begin or grow in Montessori and early childhood education, with pathways for advancement toward Lead Guide roles through the MACTE-accredited Montessori training program. Required Qualifications
- Have a valid negative TB test (in the last 12 months) or are willing to take prior to your state date
- Have a valid CPR certification or are willing to become certified prior to start date
- Are familiar with the development of young children
- Have strong interpersonal skills and a customer-service oriented mindset
- Are willing to grow and learn
- Have an interest in Montessori Education
