Job Summary
Staff will facilitate activities, supervise campers, and maintain safe, organized spaces for 4-12 year-olds at Steve & Kate's Camp in San Diego. Responsibilities include actively supervising campers, overseeing activity spaces (e.g., sewing, stop-motion animation, maker space, performing arts, arts and crafts), and recording notable concerns or injuries. Must meet age requirement (16+), have 2+ months of camp-experience, and hold First Aid & CPR certification prior to Day 1. Opportunities to lead groups, collaborate with a team, and develop leadership skills while engaging in creative play. Camp dates run 6/8/2026–8/14/2026 with set-up/breakdown weekends; in-person, on-site role with potential field trips and adherence to camp policies.
Required Qualifications
- At least 16 years of age
- Minimum of 2 months experience working with camp-age children, with 1 year preferred
- First Aid & CPR certified prior to Day 1 of Camp
