Job Summary
Provide supervision and leadership for campers aged 4-12 by facilitating a variety of activities (sewing, stop-motion animation, maker space, performing arts, arts and crafts, recreation, and more), maintaining safety and wellness, and supporting space setup and breakdown. Staff may supervise campers, create/oversee activity spaces, and rotate through support roles; responsibilities include actively supervising campers, keeping accurate notes on notable concerns or injuries, tracking allergies and dietary restrictions, adding daily updates/photos to camper profiles, and complying with camp policies. Must be at least 16 years old with 2 months (1 year preferred) of experience with camp-age children and First Aid & CPR certification prior to Day 1. The role requires in-person presence at the Lake Forest, IL location during 8:00 am - 6:00 pm camp hours (6/8/2026–8/7/2026, with setup/breakdown weekends and orientation), and entails physical duties such as standing for long periods and assisting with field trips as needed. Deadline to apply noted; pay range is $15.50-$18.00 per hour depending on experience.
Required Qualifications
- At least 16 years of age
- Minimum of 2 months experience working with camp-age children, with 1 year preferred
- First Aid & CPR certified prior to Day 1 of Camp
