Job Summary
The Summer Camp Teacher is responsible for planning and executing camp activities and ensuring the supervision and safety of all camp children while upholding the company's mission and values. Essential functions include coaching and developing staff, creating a welcoming environment, managing compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining communication with parents. Candidates must possess knowledge of child development, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to manage a group effectively. A valid certification as a School-Age Program Lead Teacher, a year of experience in a licensed child facility, and CPR/First Aid certification are required.
Required Qualifications
- State requirements of School-Age Program Lead Teacher qualified
- Minimum of 1-year experience in a licensed child facility
- Certification in CPR and First Aid
Additional Requirements
- Summer Camp Teachers driving the van must be over the age of 21
- Must have a minimum of 3 years of verifiable driving history
- Less than two points on driving record
- Ability to successfully pass a background check
