Job Summary
Unarmed Security Guard role supporting a seasonal summer camp. Responsibilities include patrolling campgrounds, buildings, and activity areas; maintaining a safe environment for campers and staff; monitoring access points and reporting suspicious activity; responding to incidents calmly and professionally; providing customer service to campers and staff; completing daily activity and incident reports; enforcing camp rules and safety procedures; and collaborating with the team in a dynamic outdoor camp setting. Eligible candidates will have strong communication skills, reliability, and comfort with outdoor patrols; background clearances are required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must be able to obtain FBI Fingerprint Clearance
- Must be able to obtain Child Abuse Clearance
- Must be able to obtain PATCH Criminal Background Check
- Excellent communication and observation skills
- Ability to remain professional and dependable in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working outdoors and walking patrols
