Job Summary
The Summer Camp Lifeguard is responsible for ensuring safety at the waterfront by supervising campers and staff during swimming and use of lake facilities. The role includes cleaning and maintaining the pool and bathroom facilities, enforcing camp safety policies, and conducting swimming instruction if qualified. The position requires a commitment to participation in evening programs and camp activities, as well as maintaining a clean and safe environment for all participants. Candidates must hold certifications in lifeguarding, CPR, First Aid, and AED.
Required Qualifications
- American Red Cross Lifeguard Certificate (or equivalent)
- Waterfront Safety Certification
- CPR / First Aid Certification
- AED Certification
