Job Summary
Camp HQ is a fast-paced admin/customer service role in a Brooklyn summer camp environment. You will manage camper check-in/check-out using a custom camp management system, greet visitors, handle on-site inquiries, respond to emails and phone calls, add notebook updates to camper accounts, and oversee the First Aid station. Requirements include strong organizational and interpersonal skills, comfort handling sensitive conversations, and the ability to supervise and engage with 4-12 year-olds. Must be at least 18 and hold First Aid & CPR certification prior to Day 1; multiple education pathways in child-related fields are accepted. Hours run 8:00 am–6:00 pm during the camp period, with a wage of $19.75–$22.25 per hour. The role requires in-person work at the Brooklyn location with potential for camp setup/breakdown and on-site field trips as needed.
Required Qualifications
- First Aid & CPR Certification prior to Day 1
- 18 years of age or older
- Graduate degree in a child-related field OR Endorsement/Bachelor's Degree in a child-related field with 1 year of experience OR 48 Semester Hours/72 Quarter Hours of College Credit with 1 year of experience OR 2 years of Programmatic experience and a Bachelor's Degree OR 3 years of Programmatic experience and a High School Degree OR Endorsement/Bachelor's Degree in a child-related field OR 6 months supervised Programmatic experience OR 3 months Programmatic experience with one of the following: 1 year Early Childhood Certificate / 30 Semester hours OR Child Development Credential OR Montessori Teaching Diploma
