Job Summary
You will run our on-site food program, including preparing and serving snacks and lunch, ordering and managing food-service items, and maintaining all food-related equipment and spaces in sanitary conditions. You’ll work in a hands-on environment with campers, interact with staff and parents, participate in paid training and development, and support overall camp operations without doing full meal preparation. Strong organization, punctuality, cleanliness, and the ability to multitask with 4-12 year-olds are essential; you’ll supervise campers, maintain a tidy activity space, ensure policy compliance, document notable concerns or injuries, monitor allergies and dietary restrictions, and contribute to daily camper profile updates with photos. The role requires being at least 18, having relevant child-care experience, and certifications in First Aid, CPR, and ServeSafe Food Handling.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- Minimum of 2 months experience working with camp-age children, with 1 year preferred
- First Aid & CPR Certification prior to Day 1 of Camp (some locations may require additional certifications)
- ServeSafe Food Handler Certification (provided if needed)
