Job Summary
Run on-site food program for a summer camp: responsibilities include preparing and serving snacks and lunch, cleaning up, ordering and managing food-service items, and maintaining all food-related equipment and spaces in sanitary conditions. Training will be provided; actual cooking is minimal as entrees are fully prepared. Engage with campers and staff, maintain organization and cleanliness, ensure compliance with camp policies, track camper allergies and dietary restrictions, and update camper profiles with daily notes and photos. Requires 18+ with HS diploma or GED, 2+ months experience with camp-age children (1 year preferred), First Aid & CPR before Day 1, and ServeSafe Food Handler Certification; pay is hourly $17.25-$19.75 with seasonal camp dates in Dallas, TX.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2 months experience working with camp–age children, with 1 year preferred
- First Aid & CPR certified prior to Day 1 of Camp (some locations may require additional certifications)
- ServeSafe Food Handler Certification (provided if needed)
