Job Summary
Camp Counselor at YMCA of Greensburg: supervise campers, lead games and activities, manage behavior, supervise swim time, and join off-site field trips while ensuring a safe, positive environment. Implement developmentally appropriate activities aligned with YMCA values; maintain facilities, participate in staff meetings and trainings, and communicate effectively with parents and youth. Must meet background/clearance requirements, provide a physical exam and TB test, and obtain two letters of recommendation. Benefits include YMCA membership and parking. Must be at least 18 and have relevant education/experience in early childhood, child development, elementary education, special education, or related human services field.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least eighteen years of age.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Elementary Education, Special Education, or the human services field; or Bachelor's degree including 30 credit hours in related fields; or Associate's degree with 2 years of experience with children.
