Job Summary
Summer Camp Counselor responsibilities include actively supervising campers, facilitating activities, and maintaining organized, approachable spaces. Responsibilities may involve creating/overseeing activity spaces in sewing, stop-motion animation, maker space, performing arts, arts and crafts, lounging, and recreation, with rotating support roles. Staff will monitor safety and wellness, document notable concerns or injuries, manage camper allergies and dietary restrictions, and provide daily updates/photos to camper profiles. Ideal candidates are calm under pressure, able to lead groups of 4-12 year olds, and enjoy guiding kids to make decisions for themselves in a creative, energetic camp environment.
Required Qualifications
- At least 16 years of age
- Minimum of 2 months experience working with camp-age children, with 1 year preferred
- First Aid & CPR certified prior to Day 1 of Camp
