Job Summary
Summer Camp Counselor to facilitate activities, supervise campers, and maintain safe, organized spaces across rotating roles. Responsibilities include supervising 4-12 year olds, assisting in activity spaces (sewing, stop-motion animation, maker space, performing arts, arts and crafts, recreation), and communicating notable concerns or injuries. Must be First Aid & CPR certified before Day 1, with 2 months minimum experience (1 year preferred) and the stamina to manage energetic groups. In-person at Steve & Kate's Camp in Philadelphia, with setup/breakdown weekends and orientation; ability to chaperone field trips and comply with camp policies. Candidates should be calm under pressure, able to lead groups, and enthusiastic about guiding kids as they decide, create, and learn.
Required Qualifications
- At least 16 years of age
- Minimum of 2 months experience working with camp–age children, with 1 year preferred
- First Aid & CPR certified prior to Day 1 of Camp
