Job Summary
Join the Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware as a Summer Camp Counselor at the Millsboro site to help deliver age-appropriate programs for children aged 6–12, ensure safety and compliance with state licensing (Delacare) requirements, and support positive youth development. Responsibilities include delivering engaging activities aligned with the Club’s five core program areas, maintaining high-energy supervision, ensuring proper equipment and facilities safety, meeting 18 hours of licensing training, building productive relationships with parents and school partners, and serving as a positive role model. Qualifications include 18+ years of age (Level I) with School Age Site Assistant Certificate, Level II and Level III certificates (Site Coordinator/Administrator), First Aid/CPR certification (or within two months of hire), and a valid driver’s license to operate an 8-passenger van. Required Qualifications
- Level I certification (School Age Site Assistant Certificate)
- Level II certification (School Age Site Coordinator Certificate)
- Level III certification (School Age Site Coordinator Administrator certificate)
- First Aid/CPR Certification or complete within two months of hire
- Valid driver’s license with less than 5 points for Level II/III
- Ability to drive 8-passenger van
