Job Summary
Assist with development and operation of a quality summer club program for school-age children (ages 6–12), ensuring compliance with current Delacare rules for school-age centers. Deliver a variety of age-appropriate programs reflecting Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware Youth Development Strategy, incorporate high yield learning activities, supervise children, maintain safety and equipment, meet annual training requirements (18 hours), build productive relationships with parents, school faculty and administrators, community leaders, and uphold club policies. Emphasis on serving as a positive role model and representing the Boys & Girls Clubs in the community. Work schedule is Monday–Friday, 7am–6pm, at the X Boys & Girls Club; duties include program delivery, child supervision, and adherence to licensing requirements. Qualifications include multiple levels of School Age certifications and First Aid/CPR certification, with age requirements and driving eligibility if applicable.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- School Age Site Assistant Certificate
- First Aid/CPR Certification (or completion within 2 months of hire)
- School Age Site Coordinator Certificate
- School Age Site Coordinator Administrator certificate
- 20 years of age or older (for Level II/III)
- valid driver’s license with less than 5 points (for Level II/III)
- First Aid/CPR Certification (or completion within two months of date of hire)
