Job Summary
At the Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware we aim to create a memorable summer for our campers. We are looking for fun, engaging, motivated staff to join our team. You will be responsible for assisting with the development and effective operation of a quality summer club program for school-age children that complies with current Delacare rules for school-age centers. This position is located at the X Boys & Girls Club. Salary and work schedule will vary based upon certification level and site location. Essential functions include delivering age-appropriate programs reflecting the Club’s Youth Development Strategy for ages 6–12, ensuring safety and compliance with licensing, maintaining high-energy engagement, meeting annual training requirements (18 hours), building relationships with parents and community members, and performing other duties as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- Must have School Age Site Assistant Certificate
- First Aid/CPR Certification, or completion of certification within two months of date of hire
- Must possess a School Age Site Coordinator Certificate from the Department of Education
- Must possess a School Age Site Coordinator Administrator certificate from the Department of Education
- 20 years of age or older and ability to drive 8 passenger van (must have valid driver’s license with less than 5 points)
- Level I-III certifications as applicable
