Job Summary
Lead and oversee camp operations under a Director, supervising and training staff, coordinating activities across sewing, stop-motion animation, maker space, performing arts, arts and crafts, recreation, and more. Build relationships with parents and campers, manage day-to-day site operations, ensure safety and wellness, handle opening/closing duties, and support the pathway to director roles. Requires strong leadership, ability to multitask with high energy, excellent communication with families, and commitment to a self-directed camp approach. Responsibilities include actively supervising campers, maintaining organized activity spaces, ensuring policy compliance, documenting notable concerns or injuries, tracking camper allergies and dietary restrictions, and updating camper profiles with daily notes and photos. Job requires interpersonal skills, resilience under pressure, team collaboration, and physical ability to assist with activities and supervision.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 2 months of experience working in a Camp, or 1 year in an Education or Child Care setting is required
