Job Summary
Seasonal, on-site leadership role in a self-directed Dallas camp. You will help run all facets of the camp, train, lead, and inspire a team, oversee day-to-day site operations, and supervise campers while facilitating activities such as sewing, stop-motion animation, maker space, performing arts, and arts & crafts. Build relationships with hundreds of parents and children, support safety and wellness, and occasionally manage operations without the on-site Director. Ideal candidates are comfortable guiding groups of 4–12 year-olds, capable of calm under pressure, and excited to grow into a Director role. Camp runs 5/26/2026–7/31/2026 (with setup/breakdown weekends); hours 8:00 am–6:00 pm; hourly wage $18.25–$20.75 depending on experience, with location at 5707 Royal Ln, Dallas, TX 75229.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- 2 months of experience working in a Camp, or 1 year in an Education or Child Care setting
- Chaperone campers on off-site Field Trips where locations demand
- On-site management experience preferred
- Immunizations, employment physical/screening required
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 pounds
