Job Summary
Lead and supervise day-to-day camp operations at Steve & Kate's Camp Bronxville under the direction of a Camp Director. Responsibilities include facilitating activities (sewing, stop-motion animation, maker space, performing arts, arts and crafts, recreation, etc.), training and guiding staff, overseeing camper safety and wellness, maintaining organized activity spaces, coordinating with parents, and supporting field-trip logistics and camp setup/breakdown. Qualities sought include strong interpersonal communications with staff, campers, and families; ability to multitask in a high-energy environment; calm under pressure; and stamina to engage 4–12 year-olds across a full camp day. The role serves as a training ground for potential future director positions and may require occasional supervision of campers and collaboration with the director on-site.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 2 months of experience working in a Camp, or 1 year in an Education or Child Care setting is required
