Job Summary
Photograph campers and camp activities across Blue Mountain Adventure Camp, traveling between campgrounds and events to capture photos of campers and interactions. Responsibilities include assisting with activity setup/cleanup, hiking between activities to photograph adventures, compiling and screening photos, editing minimally, and uploading images to the parent/guardian platform. Must be 18+, be comfortable working both in a team and independently, and provide guest-facing service while engaging with children (ages 5–15). The role requires outdoor photography, enthusiasm for capturing outdoor experiences, and basic photo editing and uploading capabilities; background checks and I-9 compliance are required. The position is part-time and onsite at Palmerton, PA. Additional details include mandatory summer schedule windows and availability for all camp weeks.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Strong enthusiasm for photography
- Experience in photography
- Specific required experience, interest, and skills in Photography
- Preference for experience taking photos of active events (recreation events, sports)
- No specific camera experience required – most photos are taken with a phone camera
- Ability to work both within a team and independently
- Ability & interest to review & screen photos and upload them to the platform for parents & guardians to see
- Knowledge & skillset to perform very minimal editing to some photos
- Physical ability to participate minimally with offered activities to get oneself into an optimal photo taking locations
- Extraordinary ability to provide outstanding guest service
- Enjoys working with children
