Job Summary
Biking-focused camp role overseeing all biking activities, equipment, and safety; lead planning and execution of bike lessons for kids (ages 5-15) across multiple weeks; maintain and coordinate bike fleet; supervise and mentor staff; emphasize safety, fun, and learning while delivering high-quality recreation experiences at Blue Mountain Adventure Camp.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Strong outdoors enthusiasm
- Experience with biking activities (pump track, BMX, mountain biking, cross-country)
- Current Mountain Bike Instructor or related certification preferred OR ability to obtain certification
- Ability to ride confidently on intermediate to advanced bike trails
- Bike maintenance knowledge
- Ability to coach bike skills from beginner to advanced
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent guest service mindset
- Enjoys supervising and directing a group activity
- Enjoys working with children
- Ability to work within a team and independently
- Willingness to teach skills to children aged 5-15
- Background check/I-9 compliance may be required
