Job Summary
Oversee daily operations at three pool locations by recruiting, scheduling, and supervising staff while conducting regular safety inspections and facility audits. Serve as the primary point of contact for managers, resolving operational issues and coordinating special events and private rentals. Ensure strict compliance with health department regulations and communicate directly with maintenance vendors regarding repairs and water quality. Manage staffing adjustments and last-minute schedule changes while remaining available for weekend work and on-call duties throughout the summer season.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience managing aquatic facilities, recreation programs, or pool operations
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel between pool locations
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Must be available weekdays, weekends, holidays, and on-call as needed during the summer season
Desired Qualifications
- Current Lifeguard, CPR/AED, and First Aid certifications
- Willingness to obtain Lifeguard, CPR/AED, and First Aid certifications
