Summer Analyst - Mergers & Acquisitions (2027)

Job Summary
Build detailed financial models, perform valuation analyses, and prepare confidential information memoranda for live middle-market M&A transactions. Draft management presentations, conduct company and industry research, and support due diligence efforts including data room management. Communicate directly with clients, investors, and counterparties while collaborating with Analysts, Associates, and senior bankers on end-to-end deal execution from pitch development to closing. Participate in client calls, management meetings, and deal team discussions to develop critical soft skills. Requires full-time, in-office commitment from May 30 through July 30.
Required Qualifications
- RISING COLLEGE SENIOR or entering the final year of a graduate program
- Full-time, in-office commitment
- Monday through Friday schedule
- May 30 – July 30 dates
- Strong academic performance in finance, accounting, economics, business, or related fields
- Solid understanding of corporate finance
- Solid understanding of valuation methods
- Solid understanding of financial statement analysis
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Proficiency in PowerPoint
- Prior experience with financial modeling
- Excellent research skills

- Strong written communication abilities
