Job Summary
Internship program at TSMC Arizona offering multiple engineering internships across facilities and construction divisions. Roles involve operation and validation of electrical, mechanical, water treatment, gas and chemical systems; design and construction intern roles; duties include system walkdowns, validation, startups, and developing operations and maintenance documentation, as well as forecasting, reporting, RFIs, and work planning. Collaboration in cross-functional teams to support semiconductor manufacturing projects. On-site in Phoenix, 40 hours/week for 10 weeks with relocation assistance available. Applicants must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor, Master, or Ph.D. program in relevant engineering fields and be eligible to work in the United States.
Required Qualifications
- Must be currently enrolled at an accredited university in Bachelor, Master or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Material Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction or related engineering fields.
- Must be able to work full-time for 10 weeks (40 hours per week) on-site at our Phoenix location.
- Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing process and design would be a strong add.
- Flexibility to change priorities and responsibilities to support business needs.
- Self-motivated learner, proactive collaboration, and team presentation of work.
- Strong communication, computer, presenting, listening, and teamwork skills.
- Export controlled technical data access may be required; Non-U.S. Persons may require an export license.
