Job Summary

Conduct legal research, write memoranda, perform factual investigations, review discovery, and develop educational and outreach materials for LDF's litigation and advocacy efforts in Education, Political Participation, Economic Justice, and Criminal Justice. Work primarily on litigation-related projects within the Litigation and Strategic Initiatives Departments while joining brown bag luncheons with prominent civil rights attorneys. Summer interns work in-person two days a week in New York, Washington D.C., or Atlanta, with a minimum commitment of ten weeks. This unpaid internship seeks second-year law students, though first-year students may be considered, with applications due by October 2, 2026.
