Job Summary
Partner with a Private Client Advisor to gain hands-on experience in client discovery, financial planning, and data analysis. Observe client meetings, assist with administrative tasks, and digitize client files while verifying email information. Manage the Salesforce book, support planning client events, and collaborate on a Capstone Group Project addressing real-world industry topics. Engage in Key Corp Enterprise learning labs and networking events to develop interpersonal communication skills. Perform other duties as assigned, including creating presentations using PowerPoint and analyzing financial data with Excel. Complete a 10.5-week structured experience from May 26, 2027, to August 6, 2027, earning $23 per hour plus a $2,000 sign-on bonus. Comply with all KeyBank policies and procedures, acting professionally and ethically at all times.
Required Qualifications
- Pursuing a four-year or graduate-level degree by May 2029 with focused coursework in finance, accounting, economics, and/or data science
- Demonstrated leadership and teamwork through past work experience and/or extracurricular activities
- Outstanding academic achievement with a minimum 3.0 GPA
- Ability to analyze financial data and client information to support planning and decision-making
- Capability to identify issues and develop effective solutions in a financial services context
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration
- Ability to create and deliver presentations using tools like PowerPoint
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and reporting
- Skill in building and maintaining relationships with clients to support financial wellness
- Effective communication with clients and team members to foster collaboration
- Ability to routinely and frequently operate a motor vehicle with a valid driver's license
Desired Qualifications
- Participation in the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) program and completion of the CFP exam prior to graduation
- Certified Financial Planner (CFP) certification for candidates pursuing a career as a Financial Advisor
