Job Summary
Partner with a Private Client Advisor on client discovery, financial planning activities, and data entry. Observe client meetings, assist with basic administrative tasks, and digitize client files while verifying email information. Manage the Salesforce book, support planning client events, and engage in Enterprise learning labs and networking discussions. Collaborate on a Capstone Group Project addressing real-world industry topics. Perform other duties as assigned, including acting professionally, conducting business ethically, and avoiding conflicts of interest. Complete a 10.5-week summer experience from May 26 to August 6, 2027, earning $23/hour plus a $2,000 sign-on bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Pursuing a four-year or graduate-level degree by May 2029 with focused coursework in finance, accounting, economics, and/or data science
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Demonstrated leadership and teamwork through past work experience and/or extracurricular activities
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to routinely and frequently operate a motor vehicle
- Ability to analyze financial data and client information to support planning and decision-making
- Capability to identify issues and develop effective solutions in a financial services context
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration
- Ability to create and deliver presentations using tools like PowerPoint
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and reporting
- Skill in building and maintaining relationships with clients to support financial wellness
- Effective communication with clients and team members to foster collaboration
- Ability to communicate face to face in-person or on the phone with teammates and clients
- Occasional lifting/pushing/pulling of backpacks, computer bags up to 10 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Participation in the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) program and completion of the CFP exam prior to graduation
- Certified Financial Planner (CFP) certification for candidates pursuing a career as a Financial Advisor
