Job Summary
Interns will assist in conducting risk assessments and developing audit plans while collaborating with colleagues to gather necessary audit evidence. Responsibilities include executing audit procedures, preparing detailed audit workpapers, analyzing financial statements for compliance, and identifying control deficiencies. Candidates are expected to demonstrate exceptional integrity, superb communication skills, and strong analytical and organizational abilities. This is a 10-week internship requiring an estimated 30-32 hours of work per week and offers on-the-job mentorship within the SC&H Audit team.
Required Qualifications
- Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, or other business-related field
- GPA of 3.5 or above
Desired Qualifications
- Public Accounting internship preferred
- Previous successful business experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to produce an outstanding work product or deliverable
- Reliable transportation to our Hunt Valley location and client sites as needed
