Job Summary
Design circuits including reliability analysis and testing, develop theoretical models, simulations, and prototypes, and collaborate with RF, mechanical, embedded, manufacturing, and supply chain engineers. Drive active projects in partnership with cross-functional teams while learning and applying new tools to enhance system performance, reliability, and scalability. This summer 2027 internship offers competitive pay ranging from $30.50 to $44.75 per hour plus relocation assistance, housing resources, and mentorship within Lutron's global lighting control and shading solutions team.
Required Qualifications
- pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Electronics Engineering
- cumulative GPA is at least 3.20
- rising junior, rising senior, or master's student at the start of the internship
- broad interest in engineering, design and development
- authorized to work in the U.S. and will not require Lutron to sponsor you for any work visa, such as an H-1B, either immediately or at any time in the future
- willingness and ability to work on-site 5 days per week
- willingness to ask tough questions, seek out new resources, and work hard to find the best solution
