Job Summary
Design circuits with reliability analysis and testing, develop theoretical models, simulations, and prototypes, and drive active projects in partnership with cross-functional teams. Collaborate frequently with RF, mechanical, embedded, manufacturing, and supply chain engineers while learning and applying newly adopted tools to enhance system performance, reliability, and scalability. Work on-site five days per week to address broad issues, identify root causes, and seek new resources for the best solutions. Gain hands-on experience in smart lighting and shading systems through mentorship and shadowing opportunities within a collaborative, people-centric organization.
Required Qualifications
- pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Electronics Engineering
- cumulative GPA is at least 3.20
- rising junior, rising senior, or master's student at the start of the internship
- broad interest in engineering, design and development
- authorized to work in the U.S. and will not require Lutron to sponsor you for any work visa, such as an H-1B, either immediately or at any time in the future
- Willingness and ability to work on-site 5 days per week
- willingness to ask tough questions, seek out new resources, and work hard to find the best solution
