Job Summary
Conduct research, data collection, and fact-finding for local government consulting engagements while assisting with detailed technical aspects of projects. Develop concise summaries, reports, and presentations of complex data for client leadership, and provide ad hoc assessments and briefings in response to client requests. Track and report project progress, maintain the project document repository, and review deliverables for quality assurance. Participate in staff and team meetings, work effectively as a team player on multiple client projects, and perform assigned administrative tasks efficiently.
Required Qualifications
- Working toward a BA/BS/MS Degree in J&PS disciplines, Political Science, Finance, Management Information Systems or something similar.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in future.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills.
- Demonstrated experience in relationship building, including excellent writing and communication skills.
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Willingness and ability to travel.
Desired Qualifications
- Relevant work experience in government or public administration field is a plus.
