Job Summary
The Summer 2026 Drafting Intern will assist the Engineering department with CAD drafting, documentation, and design-related tasks for existing and new trailer products. Intern responsibilities include producing accurate engineering drawings, updating CAD drawings based on feedback, creating bills of material under supervision, and maintaining engineering documentation. Candidates should have knowledge of CAD software, particularly Solid Works, and be currently pursuing a degree in a related field. Strong attention to detail, good communication, and teamwork skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Drafting & Design Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related technical field
- Basic working knowledge of CAD software (Solid Works required)
- Ability to read and interpret basic engineering drawings
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
