Job Summary
The Whitney Museum of American Art is looking for a Curatorial intern for Summer 2026 to assist with research and administrative support in the prewar department, focusing on American art from 1900-1960. Interns will receive training and professional development, and must commit to a full-time schedule across nine weeks.
Required Qualifications
- Must be an undergraduate currently enrolled in accredited academic year programs
- Completed a minimum of one year’s worth of academic coursework
- Interest in arts and culture
Desired Qualifications
- Demonstrated interest in art history
- Knowledge of American art from 1900–1960
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
