Job Summary
Set up banquet functions including table décor, linens, dishware, glassware, and silverware, then serve meals and beverages to guests in private suites. Take accurate orders, relay them to the kitchen, and manage payments while checking guest IDs for alcohol service. Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards throughout the event, refilling condiments and replacing tableware as needed. Ensure excellent guest satisfaction by addressing special requests and observing meal completion. This part-time role offers an hourly rate of $13.00 with tip eligibility and 401(k) matching, with applications accepted on an ongoing basis.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff and guests in a clear, business-like and respectful manner which focuses on generating a positive, enthusiastic and cooperative work environment.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.
- Possess valid food handling certificate and alcohol service permit if required by state or federal regulations.
- Show demonstrated ability to meet the company standard for excellent attendance.
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent GED strong preferred, Equivalent experience may be substituted.
- Minimum of one (1) year of work experience in events, banquets or restaurants preferred.
- Experience working in fine or large scale dining is preferred.
