Job Summary
Suicide Prevention Specialist in the Arkansas Department of Health, positioned in a 24/7 call center in Little Rock with overnight shift (Fri–Tue, 11:00 pm–7:00 am). Responsible for conducting suicide risk screenings, supporting safety planning across diverse populations, coordinating with schools and community partners, facilitating referrals to crisis services and treatment, supporting postvention activities, and collecting/reporting data. Requires knowledge of suicide prevention principles, trauma-informed care, and ability to communicate effectively with diverse communities; minimum of 1 year in related field. Roles within this division focus on statewide and regional prevention programs and collaboration with multiple stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- At least one (1) year of experience in behavioral health, crisis intervention, suicide prevention, or a related field.
