Job Summary
Operate snowmaking equipment on mountainous terrain, performing setup, startup, shutdown, and monitoring of snow gun capacity and quality. Inspect guns, hoses, hydrants, and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation, while verifying proper air/water combinations. Work flexible day and night shifts, weekends, and holidays in all weather conditions, navigating various terrain types. Minimum age 18 and ability to lift, bend, and carry 50 lbs. Required for Sugarloaf's 2026-27 winter season.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including day and night shifts, weekends and holidays
- Must be able to negotiate all types of terrain while maneuvering snowmaking equipment
- Must be willing to work outside in all weather conditions
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be able to lift, bend, kneel and carry a minimum of 50 lbs
